You may think all caravan policies provide the same level of cover-unfortunately they don’t. In particular what is included in the definition of your caravan can differ from policy to policy. If your caravan is fitted with a roll out awning then this is likely to be insured under the Caravan definition of fixture and fittings.

However, if you have either a separate annex which fits to your caravan/camper trailer, or walls that fit to the roll out awning, these will generally not be covered unless they have been insured separately under the annex section of the policy.
